This system consists of winchable slat platforms. On these platforms water or feed will be placed. When setting up the day- old chicks, the winchable platformsare all at the level of the slatted floor. While the birds keep on growing, the platforms with the water and feed will be winched up gradually. In this way the pullets will be trained to jump and fly from the first week. Because the water and feed are on the same level, the birds will be stimulated to fly from one to platform to another. The advantage is that the birds will not stay at the same level and keep on moving. With this system the pullets will be very well trained for thei future in an aviary system. After delivering the pullets all the platforms can be winched up for easy removal of the manure and cleaning.
