Turnable rearing slats

This system consists of plastic slats with galvanised steel supports. The slat platforms are all turnable.

At the start, the small higher platforms will be put vertically, so the young pullets cannot go from the slats, they are locked in on the large base slats.

After app. 5 weeks the small platforms are placed horizontally and the above drinking lines are also adjusted to this new heigth. This way the pullets can reach the litter area and are even more activated to jump and fly throughout the system to reach the water and the slats, as in the aviary systems.

After delivering the young pullets, all slats can be placed in a vertical position to enable the manure to be removed and cleaning under the slats.
