Manure Drying systems
Jansen Poultry Equipment has the perfect solution for the right treatment of your poultry manure
There are two starting points; manure from cages or aviary houses without predrying, maximum starting point of dry matter of 25% or manure from cages or aviary houses with predrying, maximum starting point of drymatter of 50%.
Based on these and other figures we can work out exactly the best layout for your situation.
We developed a number of distinguished differences:
- the air is blown from underneath through the manure. In comparison to other manufacturers who produce according the twin-flow principle where the air is blown from both sides over the manure this will result in blockage of the holes in the manure belt. By blowing only from
underneath the holes always stay open and the air always has to pass through the manure.
- We also work with variable belt speed. The belt on the lowest level (here the manure is dryer) runs slower then the top belt. This will result in an even thickness of the manure layer. If the speed would stay the same the layer would get thinner towards the lower levels. A thinner layer will result in a lower air resistance and therefore less effectiveness of the drying unit. By keeping the manure layers of a constant thickness the best possible result is guaranteed.
- For the same reason we have reduced the size of the lower inlet openings from the pressure room: more air is needed for the top (wetter) levels and less air is needed for the lower levels.
