Jansen Poultry Equipment shared their knowledge for successful broiler production.
Over 200 people registered themselves for the conference ‘Key to successful broiler production’ organized by VIV and Jansen Poultry Equipment during VIV Asia. At this conference important factors for successful broiler production were discussed such as:
- Improving meat quality, how to avoid problems like breast blisters and feet pad problems.
- Uniform growth by keen distribution of food, water and air.
- Harvesting of broilers without damages.
- Do’s and Do-not’s in modern broiler housing.
Friday, January 4, there was an open house at the brand new farm from young entrepreneur Marco Ruiter. Het starts his own business for organic rearing hens. During the open house visitors could watch the new build house and the rearing system Nivo Varia.

NEW AVENUES FOR JANSEN POULTRY EQUIPMENT
Jansen poultry Equipment in Barneveld (The Netherlands) celebrated the company's 25th years jubilee in 2011. The company expanded to 130 employees and became a world-leader in turnpoultry housing for breeders, layers, pullets and broilers. The participation on EuroTier is the final event of this jubilee and the start of the new product ranges for emission reduction, calf housing and product development in broiler housing. Time to look back and forward in booth H9-A31 at the EuroTier 2012.
The renovation of a life-sized chess board is our contribution to the community of the Polish city of Witnica. On June 16th, Witnica celebrated it's 750 years anniversary with a lot of activities.
The well-known BroMaxx® broiler colony system can be extended up to 5 tiers of comfortable accommodation for broilers. The extra tier improves the ratio of the investments with the new maximum of five tiers.

December 2009, Mr. Thomas Heno from Pontivy (Bretagne), the heart of the poultry industry in France, signed a contract for a new aviary. October 2010 starts the first round in the new equipped house.
From the 1st of April, Jansen Poultry Equipment has appointed Mr. Gerbrand van den Brink as new Area Manager.
Following Jansen Poultry Equipment’s strong growth in the international markets, also the technical supervisor and project management team has been expanded.
In the past months, five new international supervisors joined Jansen’s technical team. Their job is to supervise the installation of Jansen’s well known poultry systems for breeders, layers, pullets and broilers. Jansen’s supervisor and service team consists now of 15 technical specialists.
During the VIV Asia Exhibition in Bangkok, Thailand, Skov, C-lines and Jansen Poultry Equipment organized a very successful networking event.Shortly after the first day of the VIV Asia fair a well prepared meeting was held in the Landmark Hotel in Bangkok on Wednesday March 9th.
The first edition of the LIV Venray was a very successful exhibition.
Besides the three systems for housing poultry, namely the Nivo Varia, Comfort 2INSIDE and the Premium+ Automatic Nest, there was plenty of attention for the new solution for the fine particles (particulates) issue: the Jansen ION+ Fijnstof-filter.

The Focus Day 'Company Development' on Friday November 12th was a big success.
This practical day, which was organised by Hendrix UTD, was aspecially for poultry farmers, who want to convert their cage company into a free range or stock farm. But also for entrepeneurs, who want to invest in their existing free range stable or who consider new building.

Tuesday 14th April was the first day for all Jansen employees to start servicing the customers from the new head office in Barneveld, The Netherlands.

When Jansen Poultry Equipment designed the first Automatic Roll-away nest about 20 years ago the main objective was: to design a nest that offered the best conditions to produce a maximum number of first class hatching eggs or consumption eggs.

Rijk Rijksen of Jansen Poultry Equipment developed in cooperation with 3 students of the Technical College in Ede, The Netherlands a system to load ducks.
These two houses, each 60 meter long, are equipped with the automatic roll away nests and 1.2 meter slat of Jansen Poultry Equipment. This is the first project in Ethiopia that is provided with this kind of equipment. The houses are a property of Alema Farms.
