The automated catching of broilers can now be done in 3 different ways:

• transport via de belts underneath the cages, than onto a cross belt and than transfer into crates;
• transport via de belts underneath the cages, than directly into containers which are positioned on platforms behind the cages;
• transport via de belts underneath the cages, than onto a cross belt and than fully automatically loaded, counted and weighed into containers.

The automatic container loading platform has even been awarded with patents.

Integrated broiler producers are very enthusiastic about the system. It saves them a lot of time and costs in catching the broilers and damages to birds cause of catching are reduced considerably.
