First Comfort 2 center belt aviary system

Early 2011 the first Comfort 2 aviary center belt system is put into use by Marcel Kersten from Meddo, The Netherlands. The Center belt system is based on the Comfort 2 aviary systems and has at each tier which is equipped with slats an egg belt in the center. The air tubes with integrated perch are situated at the outside of the aviary.

3 Rows which are 2080 mm width are placed in the new house. The house is 62,5 x 12,5 m and has a Wintergarden of 6,4 m width. The aviary systems are equipped with layMaxx nest. This nest has an unique tilted floor which also acts as expel system. Due to this the birds keep the nest mat clean and are the nest easy to control. Marcel Kersten keeps 17.300 birds in the house.

Why choose Marcel Kersten for this system?
Marcel Kersten was looking for a method to collect eventual system eggs automatic. That’s why the new Comfort 2 center belt aviary system of Jansen Poultry Equipment appeals to him. The egg belt is integrated in the slatted floor and are automatically transported to the FlexBelt or egg collection table in the front of the house.
