Mechanical unloading
Have you ever imagined how many kilometres / miles people have to walk during unloading of a 100,000 broiler cage house? That is why Jansen Poultry Equipment has developed an unique unloading system.
Just before the broilers are being shipped, the manure belts will be turned on to remove the manure.
Then the FlexFloors will be pulled into the walk ways and the broilers are dropped onto the (clean) running manure belt below.
The manure belt transports the broilers to the end of the house.
At the end of the house broilers are usually transferred to a cross belt which moves the broilers to the containers for automatic filling of each container drawer. Or, if you wish, the broilers can be picked-up and manually put into crates. All in all very fast with few personnel and without the inevitable damages and fatalities with manual catching.
